Other Latin Dances
Samba and Merengue hail from other parts of the Americas.
Merengue is the national dance of the Dominican Republic. It's a bright, fun, and very simple dance to learn, and is highly adaptable to any sized space - the perfect social dance.
Samba, on the other hand is a Brazilian dance or, more precisely, a genre of Brazilian music and the dances that go along with it. Like box rumba, the variety of Samba that we teach is a fusion of style of movement from one culture with patterns of movement from another.
